Applicam was founded in 1988. Based in Cambridgeshire, England, we specialise in producing innovative software solutions for the sheet metal industry. Our broad knowledge of Turret Punch Presses, Laser and Plasma cutters and general automation, results in software that is easy to use, powerful, knowledge based and reliable.

Our philosophy is to automate as many tasks as possible to maximise efficiency. Our range of software spans all aspects of sheet metal programming. We also have years of experience in motion control and produce PC based CNC control retrofits for XYZ table or gantry machinery. We have helped machine tool builders develop the most advanced controls using our hardware and software expertise.

We constantly revise the hardware that we supply and keep abreast of new developments. We write software that can be adapted to different hardware platforms. Our own products use the advanced Delta-Tau Pmac hardware which we feel is the fastest and most flexible. Our experience also means we have drivers for most CNC G/M code languages which makes the transition between control upgrades simple for the operator.
