DESIGNCAD

Very advanced, fully featured Cad system that can read AutoCAD™ drawing files (DWG) and industry standard DXF files. All of the usual Cad features are there including layers, dimensioning, 2D and 3D, multiple views, Rendering, Lighting, True type fonts, real time zoom, pan and scroll, image support and PDF support. DESIGNCAM compatible.

Uniquely, our Cam and CadCam systems are driven by a learning database. This database stores every new shape it comes across.  Cad geometry is analysed, grouped and intelligently pathed and compensated to speed up cutting procedures. Any shape that already exists in the database is processed as before. The result is intelligent software that learns how you do things. Add to this, advanced filtering for different materials, stock sizes, turret layouts and you have a truly advanced programming system that cuts programming time down to an absolute minimum whilst being very easy to use. The programmer has full control over all aspects of the cutting procedure but the software has so much built in expertise that usually the programmer can just let the software make the decisions. The operator does not have to place clamps, add repositions, set compensation, check and tidy geometry and in most cases select tooling. Manual nesting with part rotation is standard. Dissimilar part nesting is an option. Our system includes advanced RS232 / RS422  communications to all machine tools.
